Creative Arts Classes

Star Arts Productions will be offering Creative Arts Classes
as part of the Afterschool Programs for:

 

 

     Sunridge Campus

  • Wednesdays: 3:30-4:30pm
    • Group A: Preschool - Kindergarten
    • Group B: 1st -4th grade
    • If numbers are small we will meet as one group

 

     Windmill Campus

  • Thursdays: 3:30-4:30pm
    • Group A: Jr. Kindergarten - 1st grade
    • Group B: 2nd grade - 4th grade
    • If numbers are small we will meet as one group

 

 

 

Classes will meet once a week for 1 hour.  Students will experience acting, dancing, singing, and visual arts.  They will combine all the arts to create an end of semester performance for family and friends.

    

      Program Details:

  • The 1 hour class will consist of: 
    • dance stretches and technique
    • vocal warm-ups
    • acting games
    • movement exercises
    • visual arts projects
  • As the students knowledge and skills improve they will:
    • learn dance routines
    • learn a musical theatre number
    • create specific costumes, props, and set pieces
    • memorize lines from an original script
  • Family and friends will be invited to attend an original performance:
    • The students will put on an original performance at the end of the semester to showcase what they have learned in class
  • Through our program your child will:
    • develop motor and social skills
    • form relationships
    • build self confidence
    • creatively explore the fine arts
 

        

 

 

     Dress Code:

     Girls:

  • leotard (any color)
  • dance skirt/pants optional
  • ballet/jazz shoes
  • hair pulled back away from neck and face
  • NO TIGHTS (unless worn as part of uniform)

 

     Boys:

  • t-shirt/tank top
  • athletic shorts/pants
  • ballet/jazz shoes
