Pricing

$10 per class

Semester #1: $130 for 13 classes

Semester #2: $140 for 14 classes

*There is an annual program fee of $35 to be paid the first time you register with Star Arts Productions. 

Students will receive a Star Arts Bag.

Dress Code

Girls:

• leotard (any color)/t-shirt/tank top
• dance skirt or pants/athletic shorts or pants
• ballet or jazz shoes/tennis shoes
• hair pulled back away from neck and face
• NO TIGHTS

Boys:

Performance

Performance will take place on the last day of class for each session.  Students are asked to wear all black to the performance.

Classes open to students of the Alexander Dawson School grades K-5th.

Thursdays: 3:30-4:30PM

Schedule

7 weeks of class running from November 17th -

January 19th (no class November 24th, December 22nd or December 29th).

Pricing

$180 for 7 weeks of class.

Registration is done through the school, however, payment will be made out to Star Arts Productions.

Dress Code

Students can remain in school uniform. Girls may want to put on a pair of shorts under their skirt or jumper as we will be doing a lot of moving around. Please wear tennis shoes or ballet/jazz shoes (no sandles or flip flops).

Performance

Performance will take place on January 19th for friends and family. Students are asked to wear all black to the performance.

Class Details

Classes will meet once a week for 1 hour.

Students will experience acting, dancing, singing, and visual arts.

They will combine all the arts to create an end of semester performance for family and friends.

• The 1 hour class will consist of:
• dance stretches and technique
• vocal warm-ups
• acting games
• movement exercises
• visual arts projects
• As the students knowledge and skills improve they will:
• learn dance routines
• learn a musical theatre number
• create specific costumes, props, and set pieces
• memorize lines from an original script
• Family and friends will be invited to attend an original performance:
• The students will put on an original performance at the end of the semester to showcase what they have learned in class
• Through our program your child will:
• develop motor and social skills
• form relationships
• build self confidence
• creatively explore the fine arts
